PFT, yeah! They forgot this part:

This profession is great if you like people taking advantage of you, fighting month to month to make rent, and being involved in a profession where advancement has nothing to do with skill and determination and everything to do with being in the right place and knowing the right people. 

This is exactly the misconception that is KILLING photography.  Every joe shmoe picks up a camera and thinks he will make a quick buck.  I feel sorry for those young, hungry kids who are just getting in to the field of photography.  It is anything but a quick buck and if you are skipping college for this, you’d better think twice.
